Feature Request: Online Store Modifier Toggle

Hello mods!

I wanted to share a request for a feature that I think would make sense for a lot a restaurant users.

Background: we have a set of modifiers used for internal purposes only (as we do not want to allow our customers change meals that cannot handle it). Our example is called "Master List" it contains a long list of modifiers that can be added or changed to 90% of the menu. This modifier list really helps our service staff with their workflow. its much easier to scroll through the mod list than custom type and price everything.

It is simple enough to set up this modifier for our internal use. But is very time consuming to hide the modifier options for the online store. Currently we must toggle off every single modifier option, on every single product. 20 mods X 30 products is a lot of clicking!

The fix, add a simple toggle if the modifier should be customer facing or not! I have mocked up what that could look like here.

I hope that makes sense, and get passed along to the dev team!

Totally makes sense. And I see how this could be useful!

I really appreciate the amount of detail here and the picture showing how this could be implemented. I'm happy to pass this along to the Restaurants team and hopefully this will be something we can implement in future improvements.

Any updates on this?

We are about to redo our Square items and are in the same predicament as @SweetB . If y'all have an update rolling out on this soon I'd be happy to wait for it. It will probably take 3-4 hours of clicking hundreds of checkboxes and I would rather spend that time elsewhere.

Another solution would be to just have a "Select All" box beside where it says "Hide"
