I believe its a linking issue with square i have been having same issue if the customer clicks on the picture of the item the variation does not populate... but if they click on the variation the picture does populate. we need the picture to populate both way because most people shop by picture not by words. For instance i have 20 different types of flowers you click on the purple one and it wont give you the name to be able to order it. But if you go to the drop down and find sunshine and storm variation name the purple flower picture will show up.

I hope this make sense.

On the featured items page when you select an item with variations or options the picture will change depending on the variation or option selected to display that variations image. Currently, when I select an item from my online ordering page it only displays the first variation image, no matter which variation I have selected.

Is it possible to make this happen on the online ordering page?

Have you tried going into your online dashboard, search product and you should see any of the pictures you uploaded for the product. If there a photo uploaded of each variation, you can add them when you scroll down to variations and there is a box with a plus sign to the left of each listed variation. Here you can pick which photo to display when that variation is chosen. I hope that helps, I know for us we started doing that with variations of products that look much different but not on something like shirts that there are just a size variation.

Hi, thanks for responding.

I'm not having an issue adding pictures to my variations, instead, its just that when a customer selects an item that has variations (from the online ordering page specifically) the image does not change when they select a new variation it is just the picture of the first variation no matter what. This is different than the items own page that you would get to via a featured item section, which will display the picture associated with the variation the customer has selected.
