Order limiting based on number of items

Our problem: we sell shaved ice and need a way to limit the number of items per pickup window. For example, if each snowcone takes 2 minutes and we have 2 staff working, that's 28 snowcones per 15 minutes. This summer we had issues days when we'd get orders for 35+ snowballs per 15 minutes. This gets us in the weeds and leads to a poor customer experience.

We used Square Online this summer and it was a decent bandaid. It only lets you limit the number of orders, regardless of size, per 15 minutes. For 2021 we're looking to see if the Square for Restaurants and the Order Manager therein would help us out with this issue, or if we can play with the settings to do a better job with Square Online.

Welcome back to Community!

Beside the Order limiting settings, the feature you're asking for would be a Feature Request. Using the Order Manager isn't an option either, unfortunately.

This is excellent feedback for our Product Team on expanding the existing feature, so they are better suited for more sellers.
