Automatically charge credit card after it is inserted into the card reader

Is there a setting to allow the card reader to automatically process the credit card after it has been inserted into the card reader? It seems like a waste of time for me to have to press " charge card" after it has been inserted into the card reader. Can we get an update if this is not now possible? Thanks

@Sandy-Kona This is a fail safe, think of charge as the "total" button on most registers. No transaction is complete till you hit the total button. If you do not have it set up to take names for tickets, once you hit charge and they insert their card it will charge automatically. If you are using names on tickets, if you switch to auto assign tickets (give it a number) it will charge and move forward also.

That's a great way to look at it. For me, with quick transactions, i add up the amounts in my head and enter the total as a custom input. That number is the total, no long list of items. It would save me time if the reader took that number and acted.

You're right, i can hit the charge button and then insert the card. It's one more step, but not a big deal. I'll start doing that more
