To Go orders - That are correctly Categorized, reported, printed & labeled....."TO GO"

2. Seating orders - That are correctly Categorized, reported, printed & labeled.... "DINE IN"

everything now on the floor plan is just default "DINE IN"

thanks

yes but we want to create a "section of tables" that are categorized as TOGO.

sure we can call the table or section "TO GO" but the reporting system counts them as "DINE IN"
when the end of day totals are tabulated.

the process to change the check to a TO GO is tedious and often forgotten by wait staff. they think since the section is TO GO it reports it that way

all we are asking is for the ability to have 2 types of checks on 1 floor plan

Hi there, @TomsRestaurant 👋 Thanks for reaching out to us here in the Seller Community!

For every new sale with the Square app, your default Dining Option is automatically applied to the current sale. You can choose which dining option is the default, but it will not appear on the table map.

To set items as "To-Go", you would tap the item, select 'Modify' and then select 'Notes and Options' and choose the Dining Option for the Item there.

I hope this information is helpful but please do let me know if you have any additional questions.
