Setting up a menu

I'm trying to set up a menu and can't figure out how to get it do what I need.

I am selling pizzas. Need to start with 9" specialty, then choose which specialty pizza, deluxe, meat, ect. Then have the toppings that "already " come on that specific pizza highlighted and then be able to choose extras to add on or take off. Does each pizza need set up alone or can they be added to a category? The modifier and variation section has me very confused..

At this time, Items cannot have preselected modifiers. What I've seen from Sellers on similar businesses like yours is creating modifiers that remove already included items and outlining the items included in the description so buyers are aware of what they are getting.

I stumbled upon a recent update on Square Online that allows you to pre-select Modifiers for your items and wanted to share it here with you.

Within the Item Editor in Square Online if you head to the Modifiers section.

From there you will click on the 3 blue circles that appear on the right-hand side.

From the dropdown, you will select Customize. Once in the customize screen, you can select which Modifiers are selected by default.

I hope this helps you achieve your menu needs on Square Online.
