What has been your experience with On-Demand Delivery through Square? Looking for recent experiences as we are thinking of signing up and want to get a sense of what works and does not. We have a coffee shop. Thanks in advance!

I handle most of my own deliveries, so the delivery on demand is frustrating for me as I want to select orders that get delivered. So for me it was not worth it.

What I did do however was integrate square with doordash to make delivery orders come through directly on my POS

Hi Square On Demand Delivery is ok so far.

We like to the option of delivery since we don't have our own drivers

We have multiple locations.

When the customer order for delivery is doesn't auto select

the nearest store to the delivery address. Nor flags them if

they selected on the "seems far away"

So .... we have had the instance of the customer selecting the farthest store

and the drink taking a long time to get to them.

Also the tips go to the drivers ( not a bad thing) but the customers thinks

they are tipping our team and the drive got a $100+ tip. So we

may use something else for big orders.

Kinks to work out, but overall a good option for us.
