Kitchen Printer Star 700

Hi - Cannot get the Star 700 printer to connect to the Static IP it is printing out. I have the printer set up on the tablets and am entering the static IP, but it cannot find it on the network. Any tips?

@VoodooNK do you have the printer connected to a router? and are you trying to connect through an ipad?

It's connected to the Ethernet port in the kitchen. I'm trying to connect through an Ipad.

@VoodooNK I will assume the port in the kitchen goes to a router somewhere with a wifi. Make sure on your ipad in the settings you have the ipad set to be "discoverable" on the wifi network or visible to other devices on the network or apple will hide everything.
