&lt;P&gt;Your client can absolutely use the Square Register and Square Retail. Thank you for providing that link &lt;SPAN style="background: var(--ck-color-mention-background); color: var(--ck-color-mention-text);"&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/113163"&gt;@HC_Charlie&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;, in JJ_ does provide insight. You pretty much just need to sign out and then back in and it should ask which subscription you want to use standard, retail, appointments, or restaurants. I do not currently have a register so I won't be able to provide any screenshots. But If you are still having any issues let me know! &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Switching from Square Restaurant to Retail</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a client who is hoping to switch from Square Restaurants to Square Retail. They operate as a restaurant, but feel that Retail will better fit their current business needs. The restaurant's primary register was preloaded with Square Restaurant when they received it. Can we move forward with cancelling the Restaurant subscription without losing that register?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

But I'm not certain what steps (if any) you'd need to take to enable anything special in your Square Dashboard.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
