How do I remove access to Gift Cards in Reports menu in Square for Restaurants?

I want to use Cash Drawers. Team members have only permissions to access Checkout and to "View Cash Drawers" in Reports. However, with these permissions they are able to access all Gift Card activity and can clear the balance of any Gift Card. How do I remove access to Gift Cards via the Reports menu? This is not an option in the Reports permission settings.

I get the same behavior if I disable all Report permissions and enable "Open Cash Drawer outside of a transaction" in the Checkout permissions.

Hey @GermaniaTom thanks for reaching out to The Seller Community!

If you gave your employee access to checkout then they will be able to view gift cards since it's located under the checkout library. There is not a feature available right now that will checkout but limit gift card activity. This would be a feature request and you can certainly provide your input on our Ideate Board. Please keep in mind a submission to ideate does not guarantee a feature will be implemented. But we will make sure to keep track and provide updates on this request there.
