In store pickup fulfillment option for a subscription

A subscription only allows for fulfillment of shipping, we want to be able to have pickup as fulfillment option as we don't ship wine from our store. In person pick up only and we can't create subscriptions for our monthly wine club due to shipping being the only fulfillment option.

YES. I 100% agree with you. Pickup (and delivery) are sorely needed addons to the subscription model.

I have found a slight workaround for this though, IF you use a flat rate shipping. Since I offer $6 flat rate shipping on my site usually, I just deducted the cost of shipping from the cost of the price. I set up variations on the item for Home Delivery (-$6) or Shipping (regular price). If my customers choose home delivery, the overall price they pay is the cost of the product. It definitely adds a layer to the accounting side because we have to remove the shipping cost and add it into the product costs, but it's the best workaround I've found so far. I agree with @1808craftvine , offering the ability to have a pickup option for subscriptions would seriously change the game. While helpful, it's unreasonable to ask users of the subscription service to create a work around and make things more complicated on our end.

I am preparing to get ready to offer coffee for sale from our micro-roastery for online purchase, and I know a lot of my local customers would jump on a subscription service quick.

I agree. I only offer pickup option for my wine club too. I've been wanting to use subscriptions for this since it was released, but don't want to use a work around that will confuse my customers.

I would love to have pick up as an option for subscriptions too. We have a lot of local customers who would greatly benefit and appreciate this option. The shipping adds to their price, which isn't the benefit of having a subscription if you are local to a business.
