Account Verification and EIN

Hey all
made an account choose LLC as the business entity and this thing wont verify no matter what.
granted i just got my LLC and EIN done last week but does it really take that long for 3rd party to figure out if the EIN is in database or whats the deal?

It could be a number of things to be honest. It's really hard to pinpoint exactly what the actual reason is. Have you tried to get in touch with Square Support via a phone call? There may be something on their end that they can use/do to manually look into your EIN.

Are you getting an error message when attempting to verify the business identity ? Or when you're attempting to process a payment ?

To second @Minion here, it's tough to know why your account isn't activated yet without taking a closer look at it. Your business identity might have been verified with no issue, but you could still have a step to go through to finalize your account activation.

Could you review our Get Started Guide and make sure you've gone through all the necessary steps? If you already have, I recommend contacting our Square Support then.

apparently Square uses 3rd party verification and can't do it manually .... its annoying i am trying to start accepting payments and such
