Fastest way to do a refund

I just sold something, and need to refund and recharge the customer. The taxes didn't auto populate. What's the best way to go about the refund expediently?

To process a quick refund with Square, follow these steps:

Go to your Square Dashboard or Square Point of Sale app.
Locate the original sale you want to refund, then click on it.
Select Refund, and ensure the full or partial amount is selected.
If taxes didn't auto-populate, make sure to manually adjust them as needed before confirming the refund.

Once initiated, your customer should see the refund as a pending transaction on their bank account within 1-3 business days, though processing time varies by the card-issuing bank.

After Square processes the refund, it typically takes an additional 2-7 business days for the funds to post to the customer’s account, making the total refund process around 4–14 business days.
