Is anyone using the clock in/out as a means of employee hours worked as timecard alternative?

If yes, how do you set it up?

If you have your team set up in the team management section, you can add them to payroll following the steps for each team member and clicking on the payroll tab

And then when you have it all set up and you're ready for them to clock in and out on your point of sale, you can go into settings->shifts and set "Track team member time" to enabled

One step further is to allow your team members to download and log into the square teams app on their phone and be able to view their time cards and schedules and clock in and out from there as well. I highly recommend using the Square Team app in addition to the clock in and out on your point of sale.
