Square for Restaurants POS on Android Tablet

Does anyone know if there are plans for Square for Restaurants on Android devices? Since KDS is moving to Android only, it would only make sense that it would support Android POS as well.

I run a coffee cafe and the inventory display on the Restaurant platform is extremely useful and would prefer move my restaurant system to android tablets that work together, instead of iPad/Android system. We all know they don't play well together.

This should be something that comes into play very soon to assist with cost effectiveness in the technology/restaurant industry. Android server tablets are MUCH cheaper than iPad, and easier to modify from a business perspective.

Hi! It's showing available, but it's not universally available for any Android devices. It seems it's only available on Samsung Galaxy A32 5G, which is a small phone device. I'm looking for a larger screen option for Android. But I guess this does answer that it is possibly "in the works" for other devices.

@DailyGrindNash Hmmm… I just fired up Google Play on one of my Android tablets at the shop. It seems SfR is compatible with the Samsung SM-x210 (the Galaxy Tab A9+). That’s an 11” tablet which is pretty darned close to the iPad size that fits into the Square Stand 2. Would that work?
