Set up BOH printer for food items only

We are a small coffee shop and NA Bar that also offers food items. We've grown our food item menu enough to need a BOH food prep person.

I have two printers connected to the front register -- but they both print EVERYTHING on the ticket -- how can I get the BOH printer to only print the food tickets?

You may have already figured this out but thought I’d drop in here. Congrats on the growth!

I’d suggest moving these items to separate categories within Square which will allow you to disable or enable which print.

Open the Square POS app
Tap More > Settings > Hardware > Printers
Select the printer you want to use
Under In-person order tickets, tap Categories to print
Choose the categories you want to print
