Re open closed check function not showing?

Recently enabled the re open check function but there is no button or anything that shows up when I am in transactions and click on a specific one. I just have the option to do a refund. Am I looking in the wrong place? I enabled the re open check function, set it to save the payment. But there is no change or new button anywhere in square that I can see. I’ve even called customer service to make sure it is turned on from their end. Anyone have any insight?

There are two important things to keep in mind when attempting to re-open closed checks.

You can only reopen checks before they have been settled.
You can only reopen a check from the Square Restaurants POS app on iOS devices from transactions or orders.

If you are attempting to re-open a check that has not been settled from the Square Restaurants POS app on iOS devices, using the Transactions or Orders screen, you should see the option after selecting the check you would like to re-open.
