Duplicating Menus In New Interface

Hi -

I used to be able to duplicate the menus in Square for Restaurants, but I can't find where to do it now. Can someone help?

@1369Central Are you wanting to just be able to take an old menu and then edit it? The new experience lets you turn things on and off so easily you don't really need to duplicate a full menu. You can take an existing menu and just toggle it on for a new location and you are done.

The main reason for this is that we'd like to have slightly but not significantly different menus for our two locations. It would just be much easier to duplicate the menu and start from there than to start from scratch.

@1369Central You can bulk edit items to change the categories or add categories. This would make it easyish to get them over without line by line updating. That is how I have handled some of my specials of the week. That would be easier to set up on the handhelds.

With the new menu experience, unfortunately the "duplicate option" is no longer available. Our Operations team said that you are able to revert your menu back to the old menu experience, however, you would also lose any changes made to your menus after the update.

If you are interested in reverting back or have any other questions, please let me know and I can let our Operations team know.
