Does Square for Retail Cost Extra?

Hi! We are a small business looking into adding the Square for Retail option. It looks like it costs $50 a month but it also says 2.5% per swipe. Is that in addition to the fee we are already being charged per swipe?!

This site shows Square's pricing and features of the Square for Retail program. The monthly fee is $60/month plus $20/month for additional device at each location. There is also a fee of 2.5% + 10 cents per charged/debited transaction, which is in addition to the base fee.

Yes with square retail there is a monthly subscription charge but it allows so much more then just the free pos version.

@GlassJudy and @Carrx are correct, but just to clarify @CCBNKY you are paying 2.5% + 10¢ in addition to the monthly fee, but that is NOT on top of the current fees you are paying with Square POS the free app. you either pay one or the other for the credit card processing.
