There isn't a single quantity button, but you don't have to scan or enter the same item multiple times. Scan or enter an item, then tap on its line in the Register display. A screen will come up that will let you tap +/- to enter the quantity of that item. It's not the fastest way of doing this, but it's much better than scanning one item multiple times (each of which would show up on the screen and on the receipt).

I own a retail firework company and just recently replaced all our cash registers with Square Registers. We sell a lot of the same item to customers (ex: 4 @ $1.75) and with the old cash register, we had a Qty button we presses, then the number of items being sold and then the $ amount. We did not need to scan or manually enter the item 4 times.

With the Square Registers, I lost the Qty functionality. Do you have future plans to add a Qty key/function to a Square Register and allow us to press Qty, then a number and then scan an item?

A lot of your retail customers would benefit from this function.
