Hi @SewAndSewsPlace thank you for reaching out about this! So, the good news is that we do support unit measurements in our Point of Sale inventory. You can easily sell your items by the yard and track the inventory tied to it.

However; this is not yet supported for the Online Store. It is a feature request we are tracking and our engineering team is aware of it, but I don't have a timeline set for when it will be released unfortunately.

Please let me know if you have any other questions. I'm happy to help and brainstorm solutions for you.

Since that last 'best answer' was issued has the software been updated to offer a more effective way to sell fabric yardage? The most recent post I found was from 8-2016. I would like to move my site from GoDaddy to Square but need to know I will have the ability to control my items quantities reliably. Fabric is sold in 1 yard, 1/2 yd, 3/4 yd and 1/4 yd increments but they all have the same bar-code. Elastic is sold by the yard, one barcode or item#. What's a seamstress to do?
