      <title>Can a customer sign up for loyalty without a transaction? Can I add loyalty points to their profile?</title>

&lt;P&gt;Can they sign up without a transaction?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Can I add points to their account, e.g. 50 points for liking us on Facebook?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I ask these questions because I'd like to send an email through marketing asking them to sign up?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;You are able to enroll your customers during a purchase, &lt;EM&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;or&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/EM&gt; directly from your online Square Dashboard.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;To enroll your customers during a purchase:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Process a sale the same way you normally would.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;After the sale has been completed and your customer has passed the receipt screen, they’ll reach the Loyalty Screen.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Your customer enters their 10-digit phone number to opt-in to your loyalty program.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;They’ll receive an SMS indicating they’ve been enrolled and, if applicable, earned their first star, along with a link to view their loyalty program status.&lt;/LI&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;To enroll your customers from your Customer Directory:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I also had this question and I have tried the email marketing route mentioned above. However it does not provide a path for customers to enroll in the program. It only has a template that announces the program. There is no call to action, link or other flow for a customer to do anything in that email campaign. However I found a link that does allow a customer to enroll or check their status by going to Loyalty &amp;gt; Marketing &amp;gt; Other. In there is a section called Online Marketing and provides a unique link that will allow a customer to check status or enroll!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for the heads up, the link to the online marketing portal is great I just wish the site matched the layout you use for the rest of your online site.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Kind of weird that it goes to such a bland white page.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
