Add additional "applets" to POS -- Is this working?

I was waiting for the update to allow me to add additional applets to the bottom navigation section of the POS. See https://community.squareup.com/t5/Product-Updates/What-s-New-From-Square-August-Features-Coming-Soon-Volume-9/ba-p/847143, "Add more applets to the Point of Sale bottom navigation".

This was reportedly released Aug 6, however I do not see it working. Does anyone else see this working?

What software level is your POS/Square Register reporting?

Hi @lennys26, to confirm, this has been full rolled out in August. When you are in your Square Point of Sale app, if you click More and scroll down to the bottom (it's usually after Settings), do you see a button that say Customise?

If you are not seeing this, can you let me know:

The exact Square software version you are running
The device you are using — is it a Square Register, Square Stand with iPad, or iPhone?
A screenshot if what you are seeing when you go into More and scroll down on your device

Something to note on customising the applets too:

You can only add apps that are already available to you. Available apps can depended on your POS mode, device, subscriptions and settings. If an app isn't under More, you won't be able to add it
There is also a limit to the number of app you can add depending on your device. For example, you can add up to 6 main apps on the Square Register but on iPhone, you can still only have 4 apps. However, you can customise what are featured as the main apps.
Checkout and Notification always stay in the bar.

Hi I am on a Square Register v1, running v.7.28sw.

I see the more -> customize option, but it allows me to only add 3 apps, as it has for at least a year.

Thanks for sending the screenshot @lennys26! When you have a moment, could you restart the device and check if the option to add more apps are coming up for you?

The team has makde some changes, so hopefully you can use this feature now. However, if the same issue still persist, please let me know and I can get them to look into this again.

Hi @tranguyen. I restarted my register this morning and now can see that I can add the additional apps at the bottom of the screen correctly. Thank you.

Just for documentation and for other users who come across this thread, Since August, my register has been restarted dozens of times, and following @tranguyen‘s change is here, my version number remains at 7.28sw.
