thread Packages in appointments has a new bug! in Feedback Discussions

I've been using the packages for square appointments. I've been using this feature for over a year and have never had any issues, but just in the last week or so it has developed a significant bug.

On multiple separate appointments I've done the "take payment", "record 0 payment" option that comes up when it automatically applies the package. It is showing as paid and removing 1 of the package items. When I log on the next day it is showing the appointment hasn't been paid anymore. The package item is still missing so it is creating an incorrect accounting for what has been paid and what hasn't. I'm currently having to manually track every client that uses packages to make sure they're not being double charged for things now.

Please fix this!

So sorry to hear you'r running into this @ldeotte!

To help us investigate this thoroughly, could you let me know:

Are you recording the payments on the Square Dashboard or through the Square Appointment app? If it is through the Square Appointment app, can you let me know the version of the app you currently have installed and the device the app is running on?

If you could, can you share some screenshot of the appointments where this is happening, and any specific package it is happening to?

I will keep an eye out for your reply.
