Allow “Ordered By” to Be Selected on Purchase Orders

We create purchase orders from a shared company Square Dashboard login on our store computer. Currently, every purchase order automatically lists the same person under “Ordered By,” regardless of which team member actually created the purchase order.

We need the “Ordered By” field to be editable when creating a purchase order, preferably with a dropdown allowing us to select from our Square Team Members.

Requiring each employee to sign out of the company account and sign into a separate Square account simply to create a purchase order is not practical for a shared back-office computer. The purchase order itself should allow the person creating it to select who placed the order.

This would give us an accurate record of who placed each vendor order and make it much easier to follow up internally when there are questions about a purchase.
