We’re @senem and @LaurenSQ from the Square product team, and we’re excited to invite US-based sellers to test an alpha version of a new feature we’re building: AI-powered voice ordering.

What is it?
It’s a smart voice assistant that answers your business phone, takes pickup orders automatically, and sends them straight to your POS or kitchen.

I would be interested in joining this Alpha; could support a workflow for my restaurant operation and escape room booking (appointment) operation. We are a seasonal business that runs May-October, so my winter participation would be limited.

I know I’m not in the US but I’ve been looking for this for a while. I would love to be involved. If you expand to Australia please let me know. I’ve looked at Loman.ai and at other Ai’s for order taking but nothing is designed as part of square-it’s all an add on. Would love to get involved.

Very interested in this feature. I would also be interested in having this in kiosk mode and at the register as an assistant to the barista taking orders so we can have faster input and less mistakes.

just to be clear, does this only use our Sqaure provided number or does utilize our business phone number?

Hi @medorauncorkd thanks for being the first person to express interest 😁 we still have time to work with you before you close for the season. Currently this wouldn't support the appointment booking operations but could handle the restaurant operations / pick up orders. I'll send you a follow up to discuss more.

Hi @CinderBistro great to see you’re interested and love the questions - the feature is built currently to best support food and bev ordering for pickup. The AI isn’t set up for other functionality yet such as reservations and booking catering events. We can discuss how this set up could work for your business - I’ll reach out to schedule some time!
