Our Customer Engagement and Email Marketing features are only available in the U.S. at this time.

I'll definitely send the ask over to our Product Team. If we make any changes to the availability we'll be sure to announce it!

Any update on this? I would LOVE to have Square Marketing and utilize marketing at the POS level as opposed to a separate fragmented system.

Hi,

If you are talking about mailing list, in the merge with weebly had this feature. You could do everything from your online store as link item directly to your email marketing, categories and more. It looked so nice of a feature! But you can't access it now directly from your online store.

You need to go that link and it's kind of sketchy to do it that way :

I don't know why this feature got lost. Hope it come back soon as i ditched my old mailing software to switch to this.

Email marketing is available in Canada. We just used it to send out our first newsletter. It's under marketing in the online dashboard

Yes, That is through the Online Store. Square has a product called Square Marketing that works from the POS level. It's not yet available in Canada.

From the main dashboard, click on online. On the menu at the left there is a section called marketing. Under that there is an email tab

I got marketing and email in insights tab.

But i can't see where i can build an email.

Got another section called email setup but it only concern confirmation email from orders.

Any idea?

Hello @SamuelDesgagne1!

From your Dashboard head to Online > Email setup. You should see a section where you can edit emails to be sent to your customers.

Yes that's what i said, i can edit email that are sent automatically like order confirmation, but i can't send email marketing/newsletter in there. Send newsletter to a mailing list. Kind of weird since there is an option to collect email for this on the website...

That is what I currently use to send emails outside the automated ones. It works well for me. BUT I would rather have it at the POS level and not only Online Store.

I have the Marketing Tab in my Online Store that brings me right to it.

But maybe they are working on converting it over to Square Marketing? This would be good news.

My understanding is that square marketing is being worked on for Canada, however if you're using the marketing component available in Weebly be really careful - our subscriber list was lost when the functionality was deleted from our account... for some reason it wasn't clear that ours was a Canadian account. While the marketing functionality in weebly was restored, I haven't been able to get back our reasonably sized email list and getting people to sign back up... well, that's not super easy. Anyhow... if you're investing a lot of time, just beware.
