    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hey there! &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":waving_hand:"&gt;👋&lt;/span&gt; You're definitely not alone — I’ve noticed a big uptick in spam messages recently too, so it seems like something has shifted on the backend.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;H3&gt;&lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":stop_sign:"&gt;🛑&lt;/span&gt; While there’s no built-in spam filter (yet):&lt;/H3&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Square Inbox doesn’t currently offer filtering or archiving&lt;/STRONG&gt;, which makes it tough when you’re trying to keep legit client messages front and center.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;You're right — a &lt;STRONG&gt;delete/archive/mute feature&lt;/STRONG&gt; would go a long way in keeping the inbox organized!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;H3&gt;&lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":memo:"&gt;📝&lt;/span&gt; Here’s what you can do right now:&lt;/H3&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Use Message Labels&lt;/STRONG&gt; (if available on your plan):&lt;BR /&gt;Create a “Spam” label and tag unwanted messages to help keep them separated from your real customer convos.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Submit Feedback&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Square’s Inbox is still evolving — use &lt;STRONG&gt;Settings &amp;gt; Feedback&lt;/STRONG&gt; in your dashboard to request:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":white_heavy_check_mark:"&gt;✅&lt;/span&gt; Automatic spam detection or filtering&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":white_heavy_check_mark:"&gt;✅&lt;/span&gt; Ability to delete/archive conversations&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":white_heavy_check_mark:"&gt;✅&lt;/span&gt; Option to block certain users or mark as spam (like email platforms do)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;The more of us that flag this, the sooner it’ll get prioritized. &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":megaphone:"&gt;📣&lt;/span&gt; For now, tagging or ignoring the thread is unfortunately the only workaround.       <description>&lt;P&gt;All of a sudden we have a huge uptick in spam messages in our square inbox.&amp;nbsp; Is there a way square could maybe prevent the onslaught of these?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If not it would be great if you could delete or archive a message, as all these spam ones really clutter up the feed of new legitimate messages. Thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>
