Is there a way to add a coupon code to a customer - so only they can use it?

I'd love to add a code to the a customer's account so they get a discount on their next order - I don't really want to do a code that may get out where other's can use it. Is this possible?

Hi @AustinYardCards thanks for your question. Are you looking to give out a COUPON to redeem online? Or a DISCOUNT to redeem in person? These are setup differently in your dashboard.

If you want to do an online COUPON, you could create a coupon code, but only give it to that one person. And if you are setting up a discount for in-person shopping, you can create this with restrictions to a "customer group", although I'm not certain if you can edit what customers are contained within that group. The best thing in either case may be to create a discount "code", calling in something very specific, and only email it to those people you want to redeem it.
