Square Dev Team: Can Loyalty Points deduct from Sale amount and Leave a Balance of loyalty points?

Square Dev Team:

Is it possible to add the feature so a customer can apply their Loyalty Points towards a purchase...and if they have MORE loyalty points than the cost of the service, then the balance of their points stays in their Loyalty account?

Example:

John Doe has 100 loyalty points (and 1 loyalty point = $1.00)

John Doe buys a $75 service

He uses 75 points to take $75 off (so no charge)

AND 25 Loyalty Points remains in his account for future usage

So basically asking if it's possible to add an option that any unused Loyalty Points remain in the customers balance.

@twincitiesgolf Are you using loyalty right now and saying that all their points are being used? Or are you wanting to confirm they will have their left over points before switching to square loyalty.

We do 1 drink = 1 star.

9 stars= 1 free drink

we have customers save up their stars and then use them periodically for "rainy days" all the time and it only takes 9 stars away from their account. It doesn't drain their stars if they have more than they need to redeem a free drink.
