Hello @TheBareBubbles !

Yes! And the best part is it can be fully automated!

Head over to Dashboard -> Marketing -> Automations. In here you'll see a few different automated emails including two for birthdays: Ask for Birthday and Wish a Happy Birthday.

For each one, configure the email as you'd like, then start the automation. That's all you have to do!

Now, as for automatically adding an item to their cart, I don't believe there is a way to do that unfortunately. However, you can make the birthday discount item specific: it doesn't need to be a percentage off offer. In the email, explain that if they add Item X to their cart, they can use Code X to get it for free. It's about as close as you can get to an automatic add.

Please note: I don't know if automated emails are part of the free version or if you have to pay for customer database access: I signed up for the legacy Customers Plus plan looooooong ago and I don't know what is and isn't free anymore. If it is a paid upgrade, I strongly recommend doing the upgrade anyways then make the automations work for you: I enabled a First Time Customer and a Lapsed Customer automated email back in January 2016. Since then, those two emails alone have brought in over $30k in sales I probably wouldn't have seen. It has more than paid for my $60/month over all these years! (My customer database has over 50k people in it which is why I pay so much, plans start at a lot lower monthly cost if your customer database is still small)

Is it possible to send your customers a birthday offer code that when they enter it at checkout it will add a birthday present into their cart instead of giving them a discount?
