Why is customer name (first, last) no longer saved in the customer directory?

email, phone etc. is saved in the customer directory, but name is no longer saved.

Where or how are you trying to Add a customer that a customers name is no longer available?

I just tried to add a customer in a web Browser because a day or so I added a customers name First and Last on my Square Stand using an Ipad.

Or do you mean that the customers name is not Automatically being added? If this is the case it might be because of all the people not wanting their name all over the place and being sold to Spammers and Telemarketers. More and More credit card companies are just putting customers name as Discover Card or Visa card member or user instead of sending their card users name to use the merchant.

new customers ordering online - it used to automatically save the customer name under First and Last Name, now it is saving their email there instead.
