How can we trust the email opened report?

I send out an email earlier this evening and I just looked at the report and I saw both my emails rene@gourmetsonwheels.com and apple@gourmetsonwheels.com

As of I opened the email twice.

See the attached screenshot as I just got back to my computer and saw the 2 emails and they are still unopened.

I never open them I always trash them instantly, and still, they show as read when I thrash them or do not open them or click on them.

How can we trust the email-opened report?

@GourmetOnWheels That's weird! My only though is like if you are able to preview it on your phone without actually opening it, maybe somehow that counts? Not a techy person so that's my only thought!

No never look at my phone or email after my farmers market I load up to go to my kitchen offload there then go home and then I check my email at home on my Mac.
