Thermal Printer Compatibility EPSON TM-81

Does anyone know if EPSON TM-81 thermal printers are compatible with the Square android App? They are connected via Ethernet + wi-fi router and I'm able to access the printers fine via other apps, but they don't seem to show up in the Square POS app. Is this model of printer only compatible with Square Stand/Terminal, or are they not supported at all?

Thanks for getting in touch.

Unfortunately the Epson TM-81 isn't compatible with Square on either Android or iOS - you can find a complete list of printers and which OS they will work on with Square here.

An alternative I can suggest is the Epson TM-82iiiL which is available on our website. I'd recommend the ethernet version over the USB version for Android as the USB version requires use of the same port you'd use to charge the tablet.
