thread selling per kilogram in Community Corner

I run a small pet store. We sell items Per Kilogram, and we can't seem to sell items by weight? As in, Chicken Necks are $4.60 per Kilogram. There is no option to sell 0.76 kg, I can only sell whole kilograms. this is very frustrating and I am re-evaluating if I have bought the wrong product. the decimal point is unable to be used. surely I can sell by weight and it doesn't have to be whole kilograms otherwise why have the weigh option???

Hey @torontopet,

Thanks for reaching out.

This should be doable - you may just need to set your Kg unit to multiple decimal places. To do this:

1. Go to your Unit settings.

2. Change the "Kg" unit to multiple decimal places - you can have up to 5:

3. Press "Save"

That should do the trick! I also took a screenshot of what this will look like in the POS app:

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions 🙂
