Setting rates for a multiple items sale..

I sell Heatpacks, for 2 they ship for $10 and I can fit other products in with that order like Lavender Eye Packs, but if someone order 3 heatpacks its $15 shipping, how do i do this in the rates area?

I can't set a single rate of $5 an item, as if 1 is ordered it still costs me $10 to ship it.. and to send 4 still only costs $15 and not $20

When you are in the shipping setup:

Add a shipping profile

Add a rate

Then select " based on the number of items"

and configure the rate rules as pictured.>

Will this do the job for you?

Is there a way to select which items can be included in this item?

I want to choose a particular item on my website that is the customer buys two of that particular product they receive free shipping.

You can apply a shipping rate based on total number of items in an order, however it doesn't look like there is a way to apply this to a total number of specific/particular items. You can view a full breakdown of shipping rates and conditions here.
