Can I use the reader from the first gen pos as a stand alone with my android phone?

I have a first gen pos system. I'd like to use the reader that came with it with my android phone? Is that possible? Can I connect wireless to my android phone? Or can it only be used with the pos system and iPad?

I think you might be referring to a Square Stand fro iPad, is that correct?

If so, did it come with the Contactless Reader (it connects via Bluetooth)?

Yes, you can use the Reader with a different device by connecting via Bluetooth.
