Godaddy IP Address/Name servers issue

I’m trying to transfer my website address to square. I got the website from go daddy and it’s currently attached to my wix website. I want to transfer my domain name to square so I have my website and booking system under one website address.

when I go to my Go Daddy DNS settings I can not change anything on my DNS records as the name server is not hosted by them. I’m assuming it’s because the name servers are attached to my wix website.

I spoke with Go Daddy and they said I need to change the name servers but square doesn’t use name servers they use an IP address. So how can I change my DNS records if I can’t edit them.

Im not IT savvy at all,🤯

Please help!!

Welcome to the Community.

To manage and make changes to your Square Online domain’s DNS records:

In your Square Online Overview page, go to Website > Domains.
Under the domain you want to work with, select Manage > Manage domain.
Under DNS Records, select Add DNS record to add new ones, or Edit by an existing DNS record to edit or delete it.
Modify your DNS records as necessary and select Save when finished.

If the domain you’re referencing is hosted elsewhere, reach your current domain host with any DNS questions.
