“Sufficient account history” - Rare use

Hi there,

Im new to Square. Looking to use this app for a market I run once every couple of months - so very very rare use.

Looking at the options to deposit money to my account, I see it has to be over £50/under £2,500...but it says instant transfer might not be available I’d there is “insufficient account history”.

Im planning on using the app tomorrow to take payments, but that will be the first and only use for a while. Will I be able to access my money? Thanks.

Hey @Ashleigh145, Square is automatically set to deposit funds the next business day as long as they’re over £1.

The instant deposit (that only becomes available after a while of normal deposits) is a premium/paid feature where you get the money within about 20 minutes for an extra 1% of the amount.

Short answer - sell over the weekend & expect to see your money on Monday about 4pm without you having to do anything.
