Orders over the Phone

Hi Guy,

In addition to the Dine-in, we also provide Telephone order service for

- Collection

- Delivery

I can't find find the option to select these services during the order placement

For collection, we need below fields

- Name, Phone number, Collection time, Notes, Payment status

For Delivery, we need below fields

- Name, Phone number, Address, Delivery time, Notes

- If integration with Postcode search would be great

Any help enabling these options will be much appreciated

Hi @fireawaymk, thanks for your post! At the moment, when you are taking orders over the phone, there isn't a way to enable the fields required. A workaround would be enter all these details within the Notes section when you are taking payments.

I know we're running a beta for pickup order creation in the square Point of Sale app as well. If you are interested, please let me know!

It looks like there are limitations if you enable it for us.

I am planning to subscribe to a package with you guys but looks like i have to drop my plans due to this option unavailability. 😞

Looks like the article wrote around 5months ago, are there any advancements since then ?

The feature is still in beta at the moment @fireawaymk and I don't have any further update at the moment. Do let me know if you'd like to try it and I can loop in our beta manager @JessRog as well.
