Setting options and vendors on items?

This may be by design but I noticed when I was setting some items up in the dashboard, that if I set varriaton/options, then I had to go in to each variation to set the vendor?

So lets say we have an item which is sold in 1pint, 2/3, 1/2, 1/3 pint, these are setup as an option, called 'size' each of these has its own cost price and sell price. However each is from the same vendor, would it not make more sense to allow the vendor to be set at the top level and it populate all options?

Maybe there is a better way for us to do this?

Hey @Dirky, thank you for letting us know!

From looking on our end, it does look like this is an expected behaviour at the moment. I can definitely see how setting the vendor at the top item level will be more helpful so I'll be sure to pass your feedback to our Retail team.
