You can set the status of the email address to Subscribed, Unsubscribed or Unknown. Emails marked as Subscribed will show as available to receive Square Marketing communications from you.</P> <P>&nbsp;</P> <P>When you send a receipt from your Square account, your customer can give their permission and become a subscriber but in this case, you are importing a list of customers and Square doesn't have the record of their permission so it shows 0 subscriber.&nbsp;</P> <P>&nbsp;</P> <P>I hope it helps.
