changing currency on weebly website

i have a weebly website and i am based in the UK but wish to change the currency of the website to $. I have paypal also connected as a payment provider and also square. I used to only have paypal and disconnecting and changing the currency at the bottom of settings...checkout used to work. Now when i try after disconnecting the payment providers it will change the currency but when i reconnect it reverts back to £. Why is this happening when it used to work. does square not support this?

Hi @Dicarubia, welcome to the Seller Community.

This is not supported at the moment, UK Square accounts/sites can only accept payments in GBP. If you accept a payment from an international card, the currency exchange will happen on the customer's side. All payments will be deposited into your bank account in GBP.

Thankyou for your reply. Thats such a shame i am loosing custom from the USA market as they dont like the conversion. Paypal can do it. i am considering cancelling square and only using paypal.
