What reports do you actually look at regularly in Square?

Square has quite a few reporting options, and I’m curious which ones you actually find useful.

Mine are:

Weekly: Square Appointment report in App to run net sales for the month compared to same time last month

Monthly: I use the reports on desktop to run payroll costs and hours, then the app again for number of services and net sales

Which reports do you check weekly or monthly to understand how your business is doing? Are there certain reports you use for sales trends, customer behavior, services, staff performance, or planning ahead?

I’d also love to know if there are any reports you wish Square offered that would make running your business easier.

I track the labour cost as a percentage of sales in the square dashboard app on my phone. Gives me a clear weekly, monthly and yearly view at a glance

daily sales summary, inventory, website analytics and the end of month report are all ones I track consistently.

I check, throughout each day on my phone, the sales trends report. I like to watch it as we are trending up or down towards our goal for the day or the week or the month or the year.

On my laptop I check once a week the report for last week's newsletter in the marketing area of customers.

Once per week, I look at the sales summary report and the labor reports for each location and compare it to goal.

There are a variety of other reports as well, but those are the most used.

Sales Summary - Quick Overview
Sales Trends - Compare to previous week/month/year
Team Sales - How is my team performing on a revenue basis
Transactions - spot checking and verifying transactions aren't "out of the ordinary" ie. misuse of discounts or odd refunds. As well as checking to make sure the team is getting loyalty attachment for the majority of transactions
Category Sales - Comparing categories against each other and looking for items to drop or add
