So this is what happens - an event sits at zero and feels risky. It hits 8-10 sold, and suddenly others start moving.

Result - early momentum changes perception. What we see across TicketsCandy events:

- Events that sell their first 10 tickets in the first 72 hours are 3x more likely to sell out.

- Showing “X tickets sold” increases conversion by about 12%.

- After the first visible batch of sales, daily sales pace often doubles.

People don’t like being first, they just like joining something that’s already happening. And those first buyers create social proof and validate the idea. They lower the risk for everyone else.

I like the idea of X tickets sold but unfortunately we have our events setup as "items". So we can't do that.

If the system lets you display inventory or sold counts on items that works too. Or you could manually drop a "12 spots claimed so far" in your event description or socials to create that same momentum vibe )
