Can i accept cash payment to reduce stock automatically?

I am wanting to start using the square in our school uniform shop which at the moment is cash only.

I am very interested in the automatic stock reduction part but cant see how i can accept cash and this happen.

Am i right to have seen that manually putting in CASH will be charged a fee of 2.2% ?

Thanks for getting in touch!

To clarify, Square only charges fees on payments made on our card processing network. It's completely free to record cash sales or other non card payment types.

If you're using an item inventory to track stock, items will be reduced regardless of the payment type you select at checkout.
