Can i connect a .com.au domain?

Hi,

I'm in the process of setting up my website (new to Square) and am eventually wanting to connect it to a .com.au domain. I understand how to connect the domain, however on one of the pages it says that they accept ".com,.net" domains but no mention of .com.au domains. I wanted to find out whether a .com.au domain can be connected before I go and purchase the domain.

Also, was wondering what domains are included with the "free domain" in the upgraded plan - does this include .com.au domains?

Have you already purchased the domain? If so, we recommend pointing the domain at your Square Online Store from the original providers - from what I understand .com.au domains are not able to be transferred from another domain host to Weebly (who make Square Online Store). This won't have any practical impact on using the address to go to your website, but is worth knowing if you have already purchased the domain elsewhere!

If you've yet to purchase the domain, you should be able to register a .com.au domain via Square Online Store / Weebly.

I purchased a .com.au domain from godaddy. The transfer was simple, it was all automated via weebly. I assume the systems have been changed since the question was asked
