Hi..I have just set up my new square website on a .com domain name. I also own the .com.au domain which is what my old site was on - that old site is now cancelled..Is it possible to direct that .com.au domain name to my new square site - so I will have the .com and the .com.au pointing to the same place?

I understand I can transfer the .com.au to weebly as I have already tried that so at the moment it is registered through another company.

Thanks

Hey @MBS3010,

I recommend keeping your .com.au domain at your existing provider and simply pointing it at your online store (rather than transferring the domain). From what I understand, Weebly are not able to transfer .com.au domains due to additional regulatory requirements for .com.au domains in Australia.

Pointing the domain will allow people to enter your .com.au domain and reach your online store though - read more about doing this here!

Let me know if you have any questions 🙂
