TURNING OFF MERCHANT COPIES

Hi Guys, I am new to square after coming off the CBA Albert world.

In the Albert you were able to turn off the Merchant copy of a transaction so that it did not automatically print each time a card payment was processed. You could go back later and print the Merchant Copy and the Customer copy if required.

It seems in Square if your printer is on you automatically get a print of the Merchant Copy. You can set the customer receipt to be manual or automatic if you wish.

Have I got this right - there is no toggle ability to turn off the Merchant Copy?

Thanks for getting in touch!

I had a chat with our support team about this one and it looks like they may already be working with you on trying to solve this.

I'll leave this in their capable hands for now - there should be a setting on Terminal to that allows you to turn this off in your printer / merchant settings on the Terminal, however I unfortunately don't have one at hand to test on. Fortunately our support team do have Terminals available to troubleshoot with, let me know if you have any issues and I can follow up further 👍
