&lt;P&gt;Generally we advise to use NBN with a wifi modem/router to connect the iPad to the internet, however mobile 4G should be fine as well provided you have a strong connection and aren't using the bandwidth for other things such as streaming music or video at the same time.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi there, &lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/555055"&gt;@YTCL&lt;/a&gt;, thanks for reaching out to let us know!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The first step here would be to refer to the Wi-Fi &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/au/en/article/6537-square-terminal-troubleshooting" target="_blank"&gt;troubleshooting steps&lt;/A&gt;, which are the same when you're hot-spotting a connection.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Toggle Wi-Fi off and on via &lt;STRONG&gt;More&lt;/STRONG&gt; &amp;gt; &lt;STRONG&gt;Settings&lt;/STRONG&gt; &amp;gt; &lt;STRONG&gt;Hardware&lt;/STRONG&gt; &amp;gt; &lt;STRONG&gt;Network. &lt;/STRONG&gt;Check to make sure that you see a tick next to the network to which you are trying to connect. Confirm that you see the Wi-Fi status indicator on the top-right corner of the status bar.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I would also advise scrolling down on the above troubleshooting steps page to where it says 'Supported network authentication protocols', and ensuring your mobile network is a supported network.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Let me know how you go with these steps!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
